A home is rising in San Miguel.
Synagogue. Courtyard. Kosher cafe. Library. Hospitality suites. A rooftop over Centro. And the first kosher mikvah in the region. Walk through the building below.
Funds the foundation and puts construction in motion. Land purchased and fully paid for. Demolition complete. Plans finalized. The foundation is the first concrete step, and the gift that starts the building.
Walk the Building
Ten rooms. One home.
Every space below is real: designed, ready for construction, and waiting for its foundation. And every space can carry a family's name.
The Mikvah
Four hours closer to home.
Today the nearest kosher mikvah is approximately four hours away in Mexico City. This one, the first in the region, was designed with rabbinic oversight and will be supervised locally under specialist guidance. Rainwater pools, warm stone, complete privacy.

Who's Building This
Here to stay, and always on call
Rabbi Daniel and Raizel Huebner came to San Miguel in 2018 and made it their permanent home. They guide, teach, counsel, host, and respond whenever a community member is in need, day or night, 365 days a year. Together they are raising their seven children here while building a Jewish family for everyone who walks through the door.
Why living on site matters. The entire main floor serves the community. Upstairs, guest rooms occupy one side and the family residence the other. Living on site keeps the center genuinely open, while supporting hospitality, pastoral availability, security, and continuous building oversight.
Already Alive
The community is here. The building is what's missing.
From two rented rooms and borrowed outdoor spaces: Shabbat dinners, holidays, Hebrew school, senior programs, and the Kitchen of Kindness delivering kosher meals and volunteer care to people in need.
Permanence & Stewardship
A permanent home, supported by a responsible operating plan
- Hospitality suites. The hospitality suites are designed to serve visiting families and provide a source of revenue for the center.
- Operating plan. Owning the center will eliminate the cost and uncertainty of rent. The hospitality suites will provide revenue, while maintenance, staffing, utilities, and other operating expenses will be planned through a separate annual budget.
- Open financial reporting. Financial reports and annual budgets are available to serious donors and campaign partners.
