A table unlike
any other in San Miguel

Most Fridays as the sun dips behind the Parroquia's spires, something shifts. The week slows. Candles are lit. And around a long, crowded table, strangers become something closer.

Our Shabbat dinners have welcomed travelers, expats, longtime locals, and first-timers — people who didn't know what to expect and left wondering how to come back sooner.

You don't need to be observant. You don't need to know the prayers. You just need to show up hungry — for food and for connection.

🕯️
Candle Lighting & Kiddush
We begin as Jews have for millennia — with light, wine, and blessing. Beautiful even if you've never seen it before.
🥖
Challah & Traditional Food
Home-baked challah, slow-cooked Shabbat dishes, and the kind of meal that makes you lean back and exhale.
🪑
A Seat at the Table
Intimate enough to have real conversations. Joyful enough that the songs feel natural. No performance — just warmth.
🌮
SMA's Jewish Community
Meet the expats, visitors, and locals who've made Friday nights a ritual. You're not just attending an event — you're joining something.

"I came in knowing no one. By the time we sang the last song, I felt like I'd found my people in Mexico."

— Rachel S., New York
